Safety First: Learn to surf in safe hands with our experienced, expert Certified Level 1 Surf Instructors who are Lifeguard, and First Aid trained.
Program Dates:
This holidays we're running a program for kids that love the ocean, beach and the outdoors - that want to hang out with a crew of other likeminded groms, learn ocean safety, surf skills, and awareness - and play all day long.
Running on either a Monday or Thursday from the Mount Surf School HQ at Mount Main Beach - we have unrivalled access to one of the best locations in the country for kids to play in - and around - the ocean all day long.
Yes it's out of control fun, and there'll be heaps of surfing going down, but it's educational too.
We've created a program where kids will learn how to handle themselves in the surf and stay safe whatever the conditions, why waves break, how they're formed, how tides work, and much more.
Each day the group build their ocean skills, increase their confidence, and learn a bunch in the process.
So if you're a working parent, or on vacation looking for something fun, educational, and safe to nurture your kids this holidays, then this could well be the solution for you.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our Kids Holiday Program is a flexible service for working parents, or visitors to the area looking for something challenging, exciting, educational, action packed and fun for their kids to do over the holidays.
The two day program runs on either a Monday or a Thursday at our Main Beach site location from 9am - 1pm.
With our absolute beach front location and access to Main Beach, Shark Alley & Muscle Rock (not to mention Leisure and Rabbit Island) we have a natural playground on our doorstep.

PRIVATE SURF LESSONS
For those surfers or who really want to get the most from their time in the water, private lessons are the way to go. You’ll be amazed by how quickly you progress.
Available for individuals, couples, friends or larger groups who want their lesson exclusive! Suitable for all skill levels – absolute beginners, intermediates or more experienced surfers.
KIDS AFTER SCHOOL SURF PROGRAM
Join us for a weekly after school surfing program for kids.
Week by week your child will be taught surfing skills, ocean safety and awareness - all in a fully supervised environment with trained coaches.
