Reservation Details
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a non-surfing adult throughout the session.
A wetsuit will be provided free of charge for the accompanying adult.
To secure your booking, full payment is required at the time of reservation. Confirmation and guarantee of your booking will be provided once full payment has been received.
The individual making the booking assumes payment responsibility for all persons listed on the reservation. It is your responsibility to ensure that all individuals listed on the booking form are fully aware of the booking conditions, course details, and requirements.
Mount Surf School disclaims any liability for losses resulting from failure to communicate this information.
Discount Policy
No discount codes or vouchers can be applied in conjunction with existing discounts or promotions.
Modification of Bookings
We will make every attempt to accommodate changes to your activities up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time at no additional cost. However, changes are subject to schedule and availability, and we cannot guarantee their feasibility.
If modifications are not possible, please refer to our cancellation policy outlined below:
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation after confirmation, we will issue refunds based on the following notice periods:
- 28 days or more: 100% refund
- Less than 14 days: 50% refund
- Less than 5 days: No refund
- Weather and Surf Conditions
Should adverse weather or sea conditions prevent us from running lessons, we will promptly contact you to explain the situation and attempt to reschedule to a more suitable time.
If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
Please note that rain alone does not constitute poor or adverse weather.
In the event that dangerous conditions impact the running of any multi week program, the missed session will be made up the week/s subsequent to the proposed original finishing date.
Participation and Liability
Engaging in surfing involves inherent risks to people and property, even under the supervision of qualified instructors.
To maintain the highest safety standards possible participants must disclose any medical conditions, illnesses, allergies, or prescribed medications during check-in before any lessons commence.
Participants should not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that may impair their physical abilities during lessons.
Compliance with all instructions and guidance provided by our staff is mandatory.
Participants are granted the use of Mount Surf School equipment during lessons, and they are responsible for immediately reporting any damage to the equipment in their possession should anything occur.
Missed Participation
If you are booked into a multi week program (Kids After School Surfing, Womens programs etc) and you are unable to attend a session the session will be forfeited. This is because your space in the program is allocated to you personally.
