From first waves to proper groms. Holiday surf camp and kids lessons run in the summer holidays, and Surf Groms runs after school during term.

Giving kids a clear pathway to learn surfing while staying safe in the ocean. They’ll build confidence, master new techniques and gain essential ocean knowledge.
$250 for 6 weeks
What age can kids start?
Most programmes are 6 to 15. Birthday parties are 6+. For littlies, a private family lesson works well.
Do I need to stay?
For camp and Groms, no. For kids lessons, hang out on the beach and enjoy the show.
Do kids need to swim?
They should be comfortable in the water. We stay in the shallows with them.
