Group beginner surf lessons

As these are beginner lessons we start with the absolute basics, and make sure to take care of all our students regardless of confidence or ability.

We’re here to guide, to teach you, and most importantly to have an awesome experience, so you can take things at your own pace throughout.

No prior experience is necessary! Our lessons cater to absolute beginners.

These are group lessons with up to 8 students per coach, so children under 10 need to be accompanied by a non-surfing adult. We’ll give the adult a wetsuit free of charge.

We also run daily kids surf lessons in the summer holidays, which may suit younger ones better.

If the conditions aren’t suitable for surfing, we’ll reschedule the lesson where possible.

Bad weather doesn’t affect us in any way. We’re on the beach getting wet anyway, so we embrace it all.

21 Days notice is required to cancel your booking.

Upon cancellation you have the option to either receive a refund minus 30% administration/setup costs, or you can opt for a 100% credit note to be used towards the same booked service at the next available dates offered with the Mount Surf School.

Less than 14 days notice no refund and full credit issued less 40% administration costs.

Less than 7 days notice, no refund or credit is available.
