MOUNT SURF GROMS [10-WEEK PROGRAM]
AGES: 6-15
DURATION: 10-WEEKS

This surf development program gives young kids a progression pathway to learn how to surf, and stay safe in the ocean.
The kids will build confidence, learn new techniques, and develop the skills needed for a lifelong love affair with the sport.
Our goal is to arm your child with the skills, mindset, and ocean knowledge to flourish as a surfer, something they can take with them for life.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each week students are taught new skills, following along our pathway of progression.
As students move through the program material they'll learn the right skills, at the right time to improve quickly - whilst learning how to stay safe in the ocean at the same time.
They'll meet new friends, and develop confidence in the ocean, things they'll have with them for life.

Certified Surf Instructors
First Aid Trained
Lifeguard Qualified
Safety First: Learn to surf in safe hands with our experienced, expert Certified Level 1 Surf Instructors who are Lifeguard, and First Aid trained.
Each week we'll meet with the students, matching them up with their coaches ready for the session.
Students will be provided all equipment: surfboards, wetsuits, etc. and we'll make our way down to the beach.
We'll get the group warmed up with a quick beach game, then get ready for the first part of the session where we go through the days lesson - giving active instruction, and demonstrations along the way.
Once the theory side of things is complete, it's time to practice what we've just learned in the ocean.
The kids will enter the water alongside the coach who'll supervise the session, offering realtime feedback, and helping the students to catch waves.
Once the in water session is complete, all students are rounded up on the beach for a final appraisal, and a bringing together of the group, before wrapping things up.

We have a huge range of surfboards and wetsuits in-house, with free student use for the duration of the program.
If you have your own gear and would prefer to bring that along, that's totally fine too.
21 Days notice is required to cancel your booking.
Upon cancellation you have the option to either receive a refund minus 30% administration/setup costs, or you can opt for a 100% credit note to be used towards the same booked service at the next available dates offered with the House of Surf.
Less than 14 days notice no refund and full credit issued less 40% administration costs.
Less than 7 days notice, no refund or credit is available.

KIDS 3-DAY SURF PACKAGE
Our Kids Summer Surf Lessons is a three day journey of progression, where your child will be given bespoke surf instruction over three consecutive days of lessons to make the biggest improvements possible.
This 3 day package is only available during the summer holidays, and is perfect for people holidaying in the Mount with kids - that want something challenging & fun for their kids to participate in.
All surfing equipment is provided.
KIDS HOLIDAY SURF CAMP
Running daily over the holiday period is our very own Kids Surf Holiday Camp, from 9am - 1pm.
Kids will learn to surf and improve their skills, alongside beach games and activities with other likeminded children.
All in a fully supervised environment, surrounded by experienced, qualified coaches.
